Buying
a home is a large investment, which is why it is important to
thoroughly check every vital part of it before a purchase. It
minimizes possible costly repairs in the long run. To do this, you
can start by viewing your home from the outside. Check the roof, the
driveway, the garage, and the siding; take note of problems such as
cracks or missing roof shingles.

How to Tell If You Have Hard Water
Hard water can
be detrimental to your plumbing
system, as it can cause limescale to build up. Hard water is the
result of high mineral content in the water; one way to identify it
is the water appears a bit cloudy when poured into a glass. There’s
no need to worry, though; these minerals won’t harm you. In fact,
they do quite the opposite. Unfortunately, they can reduce the
lifespan of your hot water system, as well as other bathroom
fixtures, significantly.
